Corporal Marc Ryan died for his country as a soldier on Nov.15.At age 25. He was second Battalian, 5th Marine Rigiment,
1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. He was in for four yrs. He wanted to carry on the family tradition his
Father and Grandfather.
Corporal Ryan was a 1998 graduate of Gloucester City High School.He was a star athlete and captain of the football team,
but his coach and athletic director says he was much more.
Marc Ryan had served 2 tours in Afganistan before going to Iraq. He was due to get out last May but signed up for a 3rd
tour. His family asked why. He said to many of his brothers are dieing. So for Marc Ryan lets pray for our soliders to come
home soon.
His brother Chris said he died for what he loved. His sister Lauren said he do anything for anyone and he would light up
a room.
Lets keep Marc Ryan in our hearts, and on our thoughts. God take care of a great Solider.
